Another source for information on nude beaches in Canada is the Clothing Optional Beaches in Canada page of the Federation of Canadian Naturists web site. Click the highlighted page to link to that site. The Federation also publishes a guide The Canadian Guide to Naturist Resorts & Beaches by Paul Ritchi, David Basford, Stephane Deschenes, and Paul Rapoport. California's Nude Beaches

If you are interested in nude beaches in California the best source is the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Every June they publish the most complete listing that Dr. Leisure is aware. They also publish this on the internet at www.sfbayguardian.com/Nude/. Check them out. In 1999 their 25th annual guide identified 185 nude beaches in California. The guide to Nude Beaches '99 was prepared by Gary Hanauer. Gary's guide, probably more than any other publication, clearly documents the growing popularity of nude recreation.

Available now is the twentieth edition of the North American Guide to Nude Recreation; The Most Comprehensive Listing of Nude Recreation Resorts and Clubs. This guide is published by the American Association of Nude Recreation, the preeminent nudist association in the United States. The Guide lists and characterizes the clubs associated with the Association. A must have for the serious or potentially serious nudist.

In 1998 the American Association of Nude Recreation released its 19th edition of the North American Guide to Nude Recreation. Its format is very different than the previous edition. Format is very similar to an RV Parks guide. Parks and resorts are presented by state. Each resort is featured on a page or two with detailed maps on how to find the facility. The amenities of the particular park are presented in easy to read charts and listings. The emphasis is clearly on presenting a comprehensive overview of the facilities and amenities of AANR's membership. A most impressive group from Dr. Leisure's perspective.
